Probably one of the most-mentioned names in the American tabloids, Lindsey Lohan, is one of the Mean Girls of Hollywood. Lindsey Lohan is an American actress, pop singer and model. Lindsey Lohan began her career as a child fashion model before making her debut in the movie industry, in the 1998 Disney remake of The Parent Trap. Lindsey Lohan gained further fame between 2003 and 2005 with leading roles in movies such as Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, and Herbie: Fully Loaded. Her career seemed to go upwards, but was brutally interrupted in 2007 when two driving under the influence incidents and three visits to rehabilitation facilities led to the loss of several movie endorsements. Unfortunately, things got worse and worse for her, as the media was drawn towards her personal life.
Lindsey Lohan was constantly involved in accidents and spent most of her time in rehab. In 2007, Lindsey Lohan was once again arrested for driving under the influence and subsequently entered rehabilitation. Another accident involved Lindsey Lohan losing the control of her car and running the vehicle up a curb. Beverly Hills police also found what they had preliminarily identified as a usable amount of cocaine in her car. After she received medical treatment for her injuries, Lindsey Lohan was arrested and charged with misdemeanor of driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of drugs. Lindsey Lohan then entered the Promises Treatment Centre rehabilitation facility, where she stayed for 45 days.
Hollywood executives claimed that it will be difficult for her to find employment until Lindsey can prove she is sober, reliable and underwent proper medical care. It is a shame that such a talented young girl has chosen a not so healthy path. Lately, she has tried to keep herself on a floating line, but she kept on getting into trouble, going in an out of rehab.
