Born in July 2nd 1986, Lindsay Lohan is a talented actress, singer as well as model. She is the first child of Dina and Michael Lohan, and has three younger siblings: Michael, Dakota and Ali Lohan. Her sister Ali also launched an acting career. She made her debut into the world of entertainment as a child model at the tender age of three, and appeared in numerous ads and commercial since then.
Lindsay’s first venture into the world of acting was in 1996, when she landed the role of Alexandra Fowler in the TV drama,’ Another World’. She has since gone on to appear in numerous movies alongside some of the most famous actors in the world. Lindsay has played major roles in movies like ‘The parent, Trap, Herbie Reloaded, Get A Clue, Freaky Friday, Just My Luck, Mean Girls and Georgia Rule. She is currently working on the film “Machete’, which will be released in April 2010. In 2004, Lindsay won an MTV award in the category of Breakthrough female performance for her role in the movie Freaky Friday. She also won the MTV Best Female Performance award for he role in “Mean Girls’, in 2005. She’s been nominated for numerous Blimp, Razzie, Won Teen Choice and TLR awards.
The New York-born celebrity ventured into the music world in December 2004, with the release of her debut album ‘Speak’, which did very well on the billboard and hit platinum in 2005. She released her second album in 2005 which did well on the Billboard during the first six weeks and then dropped below number 100.
For Party Girl Lindsay, life has not been just a party. She’s been to rehab a number of times owing to an addiction to cocaine. She claimed that her addiction to drugs was caused by depression over her battle with anorexia. She’s also been arrested countless times on charges of drug possession, driving under the influence and using a suspended license. She’s been involved in several car accidents due to her drug and alcohol abuse .In November 2007, Lindsay was jailed for 84 minutes, due to similar charges. November her father has openly admitted being worried over her drug issue, fearing that it might lead to an early death.
The actress has been involved in relationships with singer Aaron Carter, actor Wilmer Valderrama, Harry Morton, Calum Best among others. She’s also had a relationship with Samantha Ronson, although she denied allegations that she’s a lesbian. She said that her family had no problem with this relation, all except her father. The two broke up in April this year. She has been on an average of 34 celebrity relationships, and considering her age, that is a whole lot!
All said and done though, she is one of the hottest and biggest celebrities of our time regardless of her sometimes sordid private life.
