Lindsey Lohan is an American actress. She was born on July 2, 1986 in New York City. Her parents are Dina and Michael Lohan and she has three younger siblings: Michael Jr., Aliana and Dakota. Her roots are Irish and Italian and she grew up in a disintegrated family. Her parents had an on and off relationship for years, finally settling their divorce recently. Although she was a child prodigy, Lindsey Lohan is better known for her antics, than for her major movie roles. In 2006, Lindsey Lohan was hospitalized and her PR declared that she was dehydrated, but all her fans knew that she had other kind of trouble, much more serious than dehydration. Also according to her rep, Lindsey Lohan was affected by her separation of boyfriend Harry Morton. The producers of Georgia Rule were furious with Lindsey Lohan, because she used to arrive late after late-night parties, that made her exhausted.

Lindsey Lohan later recognized that she is an alcoholic. In 2007, she was arrested for DUI and entered rehab. Apparently she also used cocaine. After a short stint in rehab, Lindsey Lohan returned to her customs, and later that year she released a statement where she publicly admitted that her life changed due to the addiction to alcohol and drugs. In the past 5 years, Lindsey Lohan had a lot of problems due to this addiction, including stays in prison, hundreds of hours of community service and wearing a monitoring ankle bracelet.

Recently, the actress seemed to get better, after a break from the limelight. In the recent days, Lindsey Lohan was seen sporting red hair again, causing the press to wonder is she is staging a comeback. As she gained famed as a little redhead in The Parent Trap, she decided to come back to her roots. Lindsey Lohan recently told producer Matt Lauer that she gave up partying and is trying to adopt a new lifestyle. Apparently, her life seems to be getting back on track and all these changes from the last months indicate that the beautiful actress is ready to start over again.
