More recently, this one time child star turned Hollywood poison, as Lindsey Lohan is known, has come clean about her past substance abuse problems in the UK tabloid The Sun. It has been a busy year for Lindsey Lohan, since she split from her girlfriend Samantha Ronson, an Ungaro fashion consultant.

Still, Lindsey Lohan found time to open up about her never quite confirmed affinity for recreational drugs in one of the trashiest tabloids in Britain. Much to the surprise of everyone, Lindsey Lohan is blaming her father for the constant drug abuse, because he was the one who leaked this information to the press. The father of Lindsey Lohan said that the substance abuse took root in Lindsey Lohan when he divorced his wife. Lindsey Lohan has been influenced so much by her mother’s drinking problem, which often took place in front of her, that she tried drugs on her own. Moreover, Lindsey Lohan places the blame on her upbringing in Hollywood, saying she was young and curious and was hanging out with the wrong people.

Nevertheless, the media has fueled this problem and perhaps this is also one of the reasons for her going worse. Lindsey Lohan can only achieve career rebirth by being full and frank about her various problems in a mature and adult way. If Lindsey Lohan wants to be taken seriously, she will need to take responsibility for her own actions. It is a shame that such an actress took the wrong path of drug abuse. Hopefully, she will find the way to rehabilitate herself and her Hollywood career. Even her manager claims that it will be very difficult for Lindsey Lohan to find future employment. She has to prove that is sober, reliable and under proper medical care.
